Bill Black

Bill has owned seven businesses, the most recent one (before FocusPlanit) being a successful MSP. He grew the MSP organically and sold the business in 2012. After selling the MSP, he started helping other MSPs with operations, sales process, and a lot of business therapy! FocusPlanit has helped hundreds of companies of all types and sizes with their ConnectWise implementation and consulting. Bill continues to work with companies like yours to achieve goals and get the work done. He enjoys a good cigar and spending time with family and friends.

Becky Cozzone

Becky joined the industry in 2011 working with CharTec and ARRC. She spent 7 years training MSPs all over the world, helping define and establish accounting processes as well as running the day-to-day accounting operations of an MSP. She then decided to transition from Director of Finance to ConnectWise Consulting. Becky has helped hundreds of MSPs of all sizes from implementation and new instance build to assessment and renovation of ConnectWise Manage (PSA) instances that have been in operation for 10 years in need of clean-up. When not in the office, Becky is most likely traveling, preferably hiking or climbing a mountain somewhere.

Amy Cinnamon

Amy has over 20 years of combined experience in marketing and branding. She brings a track record of accomplishment both academically and as a leader. She is responsible for developing and executing the overall marketing and communications strategies for the company. From our website to our social media posts, she takes our brand very serious and is committed to ensuring that every client has an engaging and pleasant experience.

Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio she earned her undergraduate degree from the University of Cincinnati and her Master of Business Administration degree from Thomas More College. Amy is a proud mom of four boys and 2 dogs. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, the outdoors, live music and fine tuning her decorating skills.

Amy Cantine

Amy has 20+ years of accounting experience with ten of those being a controller at a Fortune 500 company. Amy understands the importance of accurate financial information and will help you understand results in order to forecast for the future of your business. She has worked with large and small companies and excels at understanding the complexities of accounting and the integration with ConnectWise Manage (PSA). Amy also manages the accounting for her husband’s successful MSP and enjoys relaxing on the beach.

Michelle Waddell

Michelle Waddell is a seasoned, results-driven business leader and human resource professional. With over 25 years of experience, she leads the initiatives of attracting, engaging, developing, and retaining great talent for FocusPlanit. She also partners with growing MSP’s to provide guidance and support in their talent acquisition, performance management, employee retention, employee cohesiveness, team engagement, and strategic planning.

Michelle’s areas of focus include: executive leadership development, talent planning and acquisition, performance management, and team communications. Michelle has spent her career in Human Resources and has professional certifications in: Behaviors, TriHD, Motivators, and Emotional Intelligence, and holds a B.A. in Psychology from Indiana University.

In her spare time, she enjoys nutrition consulting and spending time with her family and friends.

Amanda Fox

Amanda comes to FocusPlanit with extensive customer service and business management experience. Upon graduating from Indiana University she worked several years in HR and as an Operations Executive for large retail companies. Most recently, her focus has been in the finance industry. Amanda joined FocusPlanit to apply her passion for taking care of clients and building strong relationships. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son, family, friends, and animals. Amanda loves everything outdoors, including boating, hiking, biking, and gardening.

Doug Tay

Doug first stepped into the IT industry in 2017 and in the time since has gained valuable experience in inside sales, customer experience, and project management. Doug has extensive experience as an internal ConnectWise admin and helped lead the overhaul of the service desk and project modules as well as various policy and workflow additions and changes, while also managing the company wide implementation of ConnectWise Sell (CPQ). He joined FocusPlanit to help other companies learn and understand the full utilization of ConnectWise that they have at their fingertips, to increase productivity and overall operations. When not in the office, Doug is continuing to teach, but on the field, as he coaches soccer both at the youth level and collegiately in Upstate New York.

Sarah Spekczynski

Sarah has been in the customer service industry for 20 years. Her IT background began in 2016 when she joined ConnectWise Manage as a Business Knowledge Specialist. During her time at ConnectWise, she became a Team Lead in support and then moved to the development team as a Quality Assurance Engineer. She received her ConnectWise Manage Professional Certification in 2018 and has continued to keep up with all the changes and new features with the Manage product. Working in both support and development gives Sarah a unique perspective of how the product functions, both on the front end and the back end, as well as understanding how our partners utilize the system. In her free time, Sarah enjoys spending quality time with her family and running ultra-marathons.

For over 20 years, Dan Martin served as vice president of Connections for Business, a leading Managed Services Provider (MSP) in South Florida since 1977. As a trusted advisor, he was responsible for all aspects of the business as an integral part of the executive team. His efforts ensured that clients always have the best possible, most proactive managed service solutions available and that their systems delivered in the most efficient manner possible.

As President of ConnectSMART, Dan leverages this first-hand MSP experience to actively grow the business intelligence software company and ensure the product roadmap always leads the market. ConnectSMART helps service providers around the globe improve productivity and get better visibility into key business metrics with beautiful dashboards and reports.

A technology expert to many in the industry, Dan speaks at IT conferences nationwide and acts as an advisor to multiple MSPs around the country.

Afton Clark is a professional in the Managed Service Provider (MSP) industry, known for her expertise in optimizing operations and fostering growth. Afton started her career in the MSP space by managing a small MSP, where she played a crucial role in its growth and successful acquisition. Building on her achievements, Afton then joined a top, global MSP, where she further honed her skills in optimizing operations, building out new services lines, and implementing growth processes.

Currently pursuing an MBA at UT Austin, Afton brings invaluable experience to her role as a consultant for Focus Planit, where she collaborates with MSPs to optimize their operations and achieve their business objectives. Her dedication to streamlining workflows and implementing effective systems has proven instrumental in achieving sustainable growth for MSPs.

Kim Kwarcinski

Kim has dedicated over 11 years of her career to the dynamic world of managed services. Her journey began in a partner support role at ConnectWise, where she played a crucial role in ensuring partners’ satisfaction and seamless usage of the application through software knowledge sharing and troubleshooting. In just a few months, Kim’s expertise and dedication propelled her into a Business Consultant role, where she excelled in handling implementation and consulting engagements for both new and existing partners.

It was during this pivotal role that Kim honed her operational skills, documented processes, expanded her industry knowledge, and embraced best practices. She also demonstrated her exceptional project management abilities, consistently delivering successful outcomes for clients. This role served as the foundation for her impressive career trajectory.

Driven by an unrelenting ambition for knowledge and growth, Kim embarked on a new adventure by accepting a position at Wise-Sync, a leading financial integrator software company.
